Stephen Redner, President, Executive Director and Founder of Kids4Trees received his Doctorate degree in Law, and is a member of the California Bar since 1973 and Professor of Law. Stephen is a longtime environmentalist, children’s camp counselor, professional musician, songwriter, arranger and producer, and professional artist. His duties as the executive director include supervising and conducting the organization’s activities and operations. Karen Fortus, Director and General Manager retired from the US Forest Service with over 36 years as Resource Officer. Her career focused on managing the natural resources in the most urbanized forest in the nation. Given the demands of intense public usage on wildland areas – Karen’s focus was on educating the public to wise use of the land. She developed three visitor centers with annual visitations exceeding 1 million people and two environmental education centers , which provide programs to over 15,000 school children annually. She developed extensive partnerships with local environmental groups and land management agencies – all working towards the same goal of sound land stewardship. Karen has served on many community committees and boards and continues to be involved with her two children’s school and all of their activities. Jeffrey Anderson, Director. was in private practice in Marin County, CA for over 25 years, specializing in Environmental Medicine and Chronic Degenerative Diseases. Dr. Anderson is a sought-after writer, lecturer and consultant. Many physicians have requested to speak with Dr. Anderson to learn from his extensive knowledge and experience in the clinical use of nutritional supplements. Dr. Anderson has also been involved In various environmental causes and organizations and will assist Kids4Trees in assuring that its programs are medically and nutritiously sufficient. Dr. Anderson will be overseeing the general health of programs relating to participating children. Nili Leemon – Director, is an outstanding member of the Malibu community and has acted for local schools for many years. Nili has supported Kids4Trees since its inception in California. |
